War sucks.
But sometimes it seems that, for whatever reason, it becomes necessary in almost every generation. This is a place to chronicle the events of war, it's effect on the warriors and perhaps to get a better glimpse of why we so often fall into it's icy grip. If you have a story to tell, of an event past or present or even a fictional story well told, please submit it to War Stories. If you post a story that is true, please indicate such under the title (ie. "This is a true story.") This is a non-political site dedicated only to expressing the experience of warriors at war and the people who, willingly or unwillingly, get caught up in it's terrors. Remember this is not a forum for rants or opinions about a particular political party or to complain for or against any cause. It is a place for the warrior to tell his or her experiences, both past and present. All articles posted here are first reviewed by the owner of the site. While they are not edited, postings that are not related to the intents and purposes of this site will be declined. Additionally postings that contain too much vulgar language, especially language that is not necessary to tell the story will be declined as there will probably be many school children reading this site. If your story is good and on topic, you will simply be asked to remove the unecessary vulgarity and resubmit. Group Stats
